A modified gameconfig.xml is required for most add-on mods, including add-on vehicles, peds, props, and weapons.
If you are using LML, you can install this package using the Mod Manager, and it will load a working gameconfig.xml for the latest game version. You do not need to change the file in update.rpf, just load this package. You can also install this gameconfig manually by downloading the file, and copying gameconfig.xml from to [mods]\update\update.rpf\common\data\.
Version 3095 is updated for the December 2023 update. Heap Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster are required. LML update is not required for this game version update.
GTA V 2944 – San Andreas Mercenaries Update Latest
GTA V version 2944, update from June 2023 for the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, requires this modified gameconfig.xml, and both the Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster for add-on DLCs to work. Mods with add-on weapons will also require an updated version of the Weapon Limits Adjuster.
GTA V 2802 – Los Santos Drug Wars Update Latest
GTA V version 2802, update from December 2022 for the Los Santos Drug Wars DLC, requires this modified gameconfig.xml, and both the Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster for add-on DLCs to work. Mods with add-on weapons will also require an updated version of the Weapon Limits Adjuster.
GTA V version 2699, update from July 2022 for the Criminal Enterprises DLC, requires this modified gameconfig.xml, and both the Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster for add-on DLCs to work. Note that Packfile Limit Adjuster requires an update for this game version if you previously had it installed.
